Heracles Almelo has been an established name in the Dutch football landscape for years. A club with a rich history, founded 121 years ago and since this season – after a one-year absence – active again in the Eredivisie. At Erve Asito we receive thousands of supporters, sponsors and other interested parties every home match. Even outside competition days, Erve Asito is a home for everyone and a place to meet. Heracles Almelo is more than football.
We are looking for a Social Project Officer to strengthen our Marketing and Communications team.
The Heracles Foundation was founded a year and a half ago and has since grown into a household name that has an important social function in the region. For example, Electric Wheelchair Football has been established, Heracles Almelo has a Passend Football team, a Walking Football team and there are collaborations with, among others, the PI Almelo. You are the face for all these projects, but also for sponsors, the municipality and other stakeholders. You do this together with the other Social Project Employee. In all these initiatives, it is important that the set goals of the social foundation are achieved and that the strength of the Almelo BVO is involved in this, in commercial, financial, football and communication areas. In this position you report to the Marketing and Communications Manager.
All work will be carried out in collaboration with the other Social Project Officer and in consultation with the Marketing and Communications Manager.

Responsibilities:
• Writing, monitoring and implementing social policy and strategic plans
• Preparing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating social activities that fall under the pillars of exceptionally healthy, exceptionally social and exceptionally talented
• Applying for subsidies for projects and making sponsorship agreements for the Heracles Foundation
• Developing and executing campaigns for the Heracles Foundation
• Assessing and executing wish requests
• Host/host on competition days in the social skybox
• Support within the Marketing & Communications team if help is needed
