Subnautica was released in 2018, a survival game in which you explore an ocean and have to arm yourself against the many dangers that lie in the water. The game was well received. So good, in fact, that a sequel was released last year, called Subnautica: Below Zero.
Now it looks like fans of the series can level up on a brand new Subnautica adventure. Unknown Worlds Entertainment, the studio behind Subnautica, has not officially announced anything about this yet, but a vacancy on the developer’s website reveals that a third part is in the works. The studio is looking for a Senior Narrative Designer and in the description of that vacancy it mentions that the future collaborator will be “working on the next game in the Subnautica universe” with the team.
As mentioned, Unknown Worlds Entertainment has not yet confirmed a new Subnautica game, but the description of the vacancy leaves little room for interpretation, so we can say that a new part is in development. As soon as there is an official announcement, we will of course let you know.
