V Rising had a loud start, but the developers had an impressive track record of games going nowhere
Vampire survival V Rising has attracted huge attention from players. The developer is Stunlock Studios, which has previously led projects to a kind of dead end.
V Rising was supported, but still the creators failed to retain the audience: from a peak online of 150+ thousand players, they dropped to 2-3 thousand.
However, support for V Rising has not been curtailed: the game is still in early access on Steam, with a full release planned for 2024 (until July).
