The Uwinfly electric motorcycle under the umbrella of PT Tangkas cooperates with PLN West Java. The price of the motorbike is quite competitive with electric motorbikes sold in Indonesia today.
The signing of the marketing collaboration for electric bicycles and motorcycles was carried out by the General Manager of PT PLN’s Main Distribution Unit (UID) West Java, Agung Nugraha and CEO of PT Tangkas (Uwinfly) Don Papank at the Rooftop Cafe PLN West Java, Saturday (11/12/2021).
CEO of PT Tangkas, Agung Pamungkas or familiarly called Din Papank said the era of electric vehicles (EV) is a necessity. Moreover, motorcycles are a means of transportation that dominate the roads in the country.
“We are at the entrance gate for the transfer of fuel motors to electric motors, such as when the Pager communication tool changed to cellphones,” said Don Papank in an official statement received, Saturday (11/12/2021).
Don Papank, said the signing with PLN JABAR was a fundamental step to campaign for the use of electric motors in the country.
“Electric motorbikes and electric bicycles are a necessity that will definitely happen in the near future,” he said.
Don Papank said that the Uwinfly electric motorcycle has now become a leading market in Indonesia, and is even called the People’s Motor because the price is competitive.

He also claimed that this collaboration with PLN West Java would have a domino effect and snowball promos in marketing in West Java. One of the forms is by offering electricity incentives to West Java residents who use electric motors.
“Our profit sharing with PLN West Java is immediately given back to the people of West Java in the form of electricity incentives. There are more than 12 million units of fuel motors at this time, if in just a year we can penetrate 10%, that means 1.2 million motorbikes a year, which This means that the people of West Java will enjoy a PLN Incentive worth IDR 500 billion from our profit sharing, and finally PLN as our partner will also get a Leads Capital KPI for electricity use,” said Papank.
As is known, Uwinfly, who comes from the city of Tianjin, China, currently has factory facilities located in the Candi Industrial Area, Semarang, Central Java. Uwinfly-Tangkas also collaborated with Electricity Expert, Ir Arif Wahyu Adi, MSc., MBA who is also an expert in Battery Expert.
“Our current factory production speed is 12 thousand to 14 thousand per month, and continues to increase, as an acceleration we will also expand the plant to 50,000m2 with a GreenTech system,” said Papank.
“We have a responsibility to our children and grandchildren for cleaner air,” he added.
If you look at the price of Uwinfly’s electric bicycles that are sold through e-commerce platforms, they are currently priced starting at Rp. 4,390,000, while the electric motorcycle category starts from Rp. 9,990,000.
