The police had their hands full in Utrecht on Friday evening with reports of noise nuisance. At the same time, yesterday was the first day out on which catering entrepreneurs had to close their doors at 10 p.m.
“We were very busy with several units this night with a lot of noise and nuisance reports,” the police writes on social media. For example, there was a house party at the Utrecht Science Park. After several warnings, the police ended the party. Several persons were fined.
The cabinet’s new corona measures state that catering businesses must close their doors at 10 p.m. A little after 10 p.m. on Friday evening, a line of people stood in front of Boon’s Markt on the Ganzenmarkt.
