After having chained the victories for more than a month, Utah has just signed its third defeat in six games, this Monday in New Orleans. The Pelicans took the upper hand in the third quarter by relying on the phenomenon Zion Williamson (26 points to 10/17 on shots, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in 34 minutes), who managed to score in the racket (74 to 56 in “the key” for his team) despite Rudy Gobert (22 points at 9/13 on shots, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks in 33 minutes). The Jazz struggled to pick up at the end of the match (from 122-108 to 125-124) but failed to achieve the hold-up. Utah, however, maintains a three-game lead over the Los Angeles Lakers.
