Previous, Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI) condemned the drunken and viral remarks of teenagers on social media. MUI judged that the teenagers had criticized the religion by calling the Prophet Muhammad SAW a drunkard.

“The first, of course, is a despicable act and denounces religion. The Prophet SAW is an example who has noble character. In fact, his main mission was to straighten the morals of drunkards at that time,” said Deputy Secretary General of MUI Muhammad Ziyad when contacted by detikcom.
