Plan Master Hanan Attaki holding lectures in a number of areas of East Java was rejected. This Acehnese preacher was rejected because he was accused of being a former member of the Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) organization, which was officially banned and dissolved by the government on July 19, 2017.
Reported detikJatim, Wednesday (27/7/2022), Hanan Attaki has given an official clarification regarding the alleged former HTI member. Da insists he was never a member, not even a sympathizer.
He said that since returning from Egypt, he had not joined any organization other than creating a youth da’wah organization called Pemuda Hijrah. He also admitted that all this time he had relied on Imam Shafi’i. As is known, the nahdliyin in the archipelago both adhere to the Shafi’i school of thought.

It was recorded that there were four regions in East Java that firmly rejected Hanan Attaki’s da’wah activities and lectures. The first rejection was known in Gresik. At that time, he will lecture at the Sky Concert at the Maulana Malik Ibrahim Grand Mosque, Gresik, on July 30, 2022.
Rejected in Gresik, the committee did not lose heart. This time the event will be shifted to Jember. The event is planned to be held on July 29, 2022 at 17.00 WIB at PKSPO GOR Jalan Nusantara, Kaliwates District, Jember. But this event also had the same fate. Get rejected.
Receiving rejection in Jember, the committee then considered shifting to Situbondo. The plan is that the event will be held at a boarding school in Sukorejo, Situbondo. Rejection came back. According to the Chairman of the Situbondo PCNU, KH Muhyiddin Khotib, one of the reasons for the refusal was that Hanan Attaki was allegedly one of the administrators of a banned mass organization.
Hanan Attaki’s Sky Concert was supposed to be held in Sidoarjo, but it was also canceled. The event is scheduled to be held at the Nurul Iman Mosque, Perum The Taman Dhika, Sidoarjo, this month. The event, which was supposed to take place on July 30, has also been cancelled.
