Ustaz Abdul Somad (UAS) and his new wife, Fatimah Az Zahra, held a wedding reception. It is known that the reception took place at the Darussalam University Building (Unida) Gontor, Ponorogo, East Java.
However, according to the information obtained, the event was held behind closed doors. The news was then confirmed by Darussalam Gontor Modern Ponpes Public Relations, Ustadz Taufik Affandi. He said, the family did not want anyone to cover the wedding reception.
“But suppose there is press release from there, I don’t know, “said Taufik recently.
Then when asked about invited guests, Taufik said that there were some who came from outside Ponorogo. However, he could not specify who the invited guests were.
“What is clear is that there are many invited guests from outside Ponorogo, if the committee itself chooses from Gontor,” he explained.
According to him, Gontor only served as a location or place for a wedding reception to take place. The problem of invited guests is the right of the owner.
“We only had an opportunity, it happened that a family from Jombang rented the Unida building,” explained Taufik.
