MEP Nils Ušakovs (“Harmony”) has joined an intergroup of MEPs fighting for the rights of sexual minorities, LGBTI intergroups said on social media on Thursday.

With the accession of Ushakov, the LGBTI intergroup includes representatives from all 27 European Union member states
According to the group’s official website, the LGBTI Intergroup has more than 150 members and is the largest of the 27 EP intergroups.
LGBTI Intergroup members work to defend the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex people in the European Parliament.
