WhatsApp is a social network created to allow users to exchange messages. Initially, only text messages were allowed. This year, the application has implemented several updates. The idea is to make the WhatsApp environment more secure, while respecting user privacy. As the communication tool grew, people were faced with a greater lack of privacy. Now, the social network is preparing another update to fix the problem. WhatsApp announces a new user privacy tool
The social network has announced another tool in its messaging application. For now it is in the testing phase. Only people with the beta version will be able to access it. Beta is when a software developer studies a project and makes sure that some users can be the first to use the program. This way, you can fix bugs and implement improvements before releasing it to the general public.
Therefore, the new WhatsApp update will allow the user to remove notifications. This way, when you don’t want to receive alerts for new messages, you can disable them, temporarily or permanently. The change will also affect the app’s video calls and voice calls. It is not yet known when the new features will be made available to everyone. The social network does not reveal the criteria for testing the beta version.
There are currently ways to disable notifications. Both on mobile phones with the Android operating system and on the iPhone, it is possible to remove notifications from an application. The procedure is performed through the device settings tab. In Apple’s case, there’s also a way to turn on the “Do Not Disturb” feature. This way, there is a way for the user to mute video and voice calls.
It is not yet known how the new tool can be accessed, but it is believed that it will be in the settings tab. WhatsApp has yet to release more details about the new update.

Remember the main changes to the messenger in 2022
As explained earlier, WhatsApp has shown greater concern for the privacy of its users. Due to the new policy, the messenger has implemented several updates this year. One of them removed the online notice from the messenger. The other allows people to leave groups without other users being notified. Only admins will know that the person is gone.
Finally, the main change has not yet arrived in the country. WhatsApp allows for the creation of groups with multiple members. In addition, groups can be divided into subgroups. However, the change will only come to the country in 2023, due to an agreement between the social network and the TSE (Higher Electoral Court).
