I also have a Xiaomi phone. A great case, little effort and Android One. However, I tried to contact Xiaomi once because I was unable to find a solution. The help desk (if available) is terrible! No decent word of English, no interest at all and in the end they refer me to Communion because perhaps other users have this too and they know the solution.

Maybe it is better now, because my case played a few years ago. A Samsung, a Nokia, and an HTC are so much easier to reach and they naturally also give you a vague answer and conditions, but they give you the impression that they are accessible at all. I have sometimes considered buying a Xiaomi vacuum cleaner robot. But just the idea that I should contact them again someday makes me seriously doubt.

All this completely off topic but triggered by the phrase “Xiaomi has not yet responded to the upgrade problems.”
