In an email sent to Asian PS Plus subscribers, Sony confirmed that it will be possible to upgrade your plan just by paying the difference.
That is, if you subscribe to PS Plus Essential and want to upgrade to Extra or Deluxe, simply pay the difference between the plans at any time after the new subscription is launched. You don’t pay full price. The prices had already been revealed previously in the official announcement of the new PS Plus.
In case you missed it, the new PS Plus is slated for June 13 in the Americas. In the case of the e-mail of this news, the text says May 23 because that is when Asia will receive the news.
