Jakarta, Selular.ID – In the days since the arrival of the first iPhone 12 and 12 Pro phones, a number of users have complained about scratches on the screen. In fact, according to a recent review, the super-ceramic screen of the iPhone 12 has four times better drop resistance.
The super-ceramic display glass material with an innovative crystal structure is highly resistant to drops. However, why does this display scratch so easily?
Max Weinbanch, a tech enthusiast, said that the glass material is so soft that it is resistant to drops, but this also seems to make it prone to scratches.
He also uploaded a tweet via his personal Twitter account, accompanied by a photo of the scratches on the iPhone 12 Pro screen.

Furthermore, this iPhone screen problem was also complained of by MKBHD, a well-known YouTube digital channel. According to him, after a few days, significant scratches were visible on the screen.
It also states that scratch resistance is often inversely related to shatterproof protection. The softer the glass, the less likely it is to break, but the easier it will scratch. On the other hand, the hard display may be more resistant to scratches, but is more fragile when dropped. Unfortunately, there is no further explanation regarding the scratches on the iPhone 12 screen.
