Photos of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) when he met the founder and CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk milling about in cyberspace. From a series of photos circulating, there is one thing that is being discussed, namely the shoes worn by Jokowi.
Jokowi is seen again wearing his local flagship shoes, which can be seen from the photo when he was walking with Elon Musk. Jokowi’s shoes are known to be sneakers made by NAH Project, a shoe manufacturer from Bandung, West Java.
The conversation about shoes attracted NAH Project CEO Rizky Arief Dwi P iktu to comment on Twitter.
“Because on Twitter, shoes are always busy. How about I tell you about this historic story, starting from Bandung 2018, to Elon Musk in 2022?” he tweeted.
Interestingly, in another Rizky post, it turns out that the discussion about Jokowi’s local shoes has reached Malaysia.
A Twitter resident named Roman Akramovich or @SyedAkramin posted the shoes that Jokowi wore when he met Elon Musk. The account wrote that it came from Selangor, Malaysia with 35.8 thousand followers.
“A Twitter friend told me that the shoes that Jokowi wore when he met Elon Musk in the USA during the day were from the Project NAH brand made in Bandung, Indonesia. The price was around RM112. This man really wants to develop his country. He even thought about this small matter,” he wrote. .
Rizky also admitted that he was surprised that his shoes had gone viral in neighboring countries.
