“Gargging in the mouth and back of the throat is important to reduce the number of viruses and the risk of spreading in the early stages of infection,” said Andrianto Soeprapto, Member of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Faculty of Dentistry UI at a press conference on the results of the research ‘The Effect of Iodin Gargling Povidon and Hydrogen Peroxide on the CT RT-PCR value of SARS-CoV-2’.
Gargle with mouthwash containing Povidone-Iodine and hydrogen peroxidecan speed healing and reduce severity.
To prevent Covid-19 infection and speed up the recovery process, it is recommended to rinse your mouth 3 times a day.
“With the amount of virus that is in our respiratory tract, we get rid of it, so healing for patients can be faster and not increase in severity in the future,” concluded Andrianto.
