Use FWD prices starting at IDR 455 million

The launch of the Toyota Innova hybrid is confirmed in two days, to be precise on November 21, 2022. Before the launch, there were many leaks regarding the features and prices of the hybrid Innova.

Aside from that, Toyota has also uploaded several snippets of images to its Medan social account which is also a signal that this feature will be incorporated into the Innova hybrid.

Most recently, Toyota has loaded a panoramic sunroof feature. It appears that the sunroof of this Innova hybrid extends all the way to the rear. There is also lighting or ambient light which adds a luxurious feel.

While at the front, it appears that the latest Innova uses a floating entertainment screen. Not only that, it can be seen that there is also a dashcam-like device mounted next to the rear view mirror of the car.

The Innova hybrid will reportedly carry a front-wheel drive, or front-wheel drive (FWD) system. If so, this means that the Innova hybrid will leave the rear-wheel drive system used so far.

The FWD drive system has a number of advantages. The components are simpler because the axles are connected directly to the engine and transmission. the fuel consumption of cars with the FWD system is also said to be better. Another benefit offered by the FWD system is traction. The increased front downforce helps the car have good front-end traction.

The roominess of the car’s passenger compartment is also a clear advantage deriving from the use of the FWD system. It is also said that production costs will be cut in the hope that car prices will be cheaper.

Speaking of pricing, a Toyota vendor recently leaked that there will be at least three Innova variants offered in Indonesia. Pricing starts at IDR 455 million.
