Suara.com – Xiaomi has launched two new mid-range phones Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro in Indonesia Tuesday night (30/3/2021). The company claims the two new cellphones are the best-in-class series, especially in components AMOLED screen.
However, the Redmi Note 10 does not present a fingerprint sensor in the display or an on-screen fingerprint. As is known, a smartphone with a screen AMOLED usually already supports fingerprint sensors on the screen.
Country Director of Xiaomi Indonesia Alvin Tse said that the fingerprint sensor is intended for consumers to enjoy this feature more. Because, the fingerprint on the side will add to the elegant side that the Redmi Note 10 and Note 10 Pro want to present.
“We want to provide an experience to consumers so that they experience the upgraded screen to AMOLED first,” said Alvin during a virtual press conference, Tuesday (30/3/2021).

However, Alvin did not deny that he would bring the fingerprint sensor on the screen to the next Redmi Note. He also emphasized that the fingerprint sensor on the side of the cellphone does not mean that it is bad.
“Because of the advantages, we want to bring an elegant design to the Redmi Note 10 series. That’s why we believe the side fingerprint will be more comfortable and easier to use,” explained Alvin.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 in Indonesia on Tuesday night. In Indonesia Redmi Note 10 price starting from Rp. 2.4 million. While the Redmi Note 10 Pro is priced at Rp. 3.5 million.
