Actress Uschi Glas still appears in front of the camera at the age of 80 – she apparently did that in Hamburg-Rissen. Recordings for an ARD comedy were made there.
Has Uschi Glas ended up in a retirement home at the age of 80? This is what photographs taken in Hamburg-Rissen suggest. But appearances are deceiving. According to a reporter on site, the actress stood in front of the camera on site.
This is the “feel-good” comedy “We Four and the Grandchildren’s Trick” from ARD. Mia Sprengler directs. The plot: Senior Irene, who is apparently played by Uschi Glas, falls victim to fraudsters, whereupon she decides to move into a retirement home, according to screenwriter Kai Kreuser’s website. At first she had no idea that “new friends are waiting for her there, who will not only turn her life, but also that of the con artists, completely upside down.”
Apparently, Glass isn’t the only familiar face that’s part of the film. According to the reporter, Katharina Thalbach should also play a role. But extras with less camera experience also took part in the filming in Hamburg-Rissen: two residents of the seniors’ residence are said to have been there.
Photos from the filming show Glas on a lounger in the garden – equipped with a drink, sunglasses and headphones. Two other actresses made themselves comfortable next to her. It is not yet known when the film will be released.
