USAP: Quentin Walcker in Castres next season? Christian Lanta confirms

Courted by several Top 14 clubs, USAP left pillar Quentin Walcker gave his preference to the Olympic Castres for the next season.

He was one, if not THE priority of Usap in recent days. The Perpignan club engaged in Pro D2, and in the race for the rise in Top 14, wanted to extend the contract of its left pillar Quentin Walcker (24 years old, 1m81, 105 kg).

But, the latter, who absolutely wanted to play next season in Top 14, finally chose the Olympic Castres.

“I’m disappointed because he’s a boy I would have liked to convince to stay. It’s his choice, we’ll respect him. I thought his future in the next one or two seasons was with us.”, regrets the general manager of blood and gold, Christian Lanta.

Walcker on the start, Philippart who has just ended his career on (cervical) injury, Tougne at the end of his contract, there would be only one left pillar left, Lotrian. For Chrisian Lanta, “It’s not worrying, we will have left pillars next season.”
