USA wins sixth SheBelieves Cup

The Americans won their sixth SheBelieves Cup, the fourth in a row, beating Brazil (2-1), thanks in particular to Mallory Swanson, Wednesday evening in Frisco, Texas.

The Chicago Red Stars striker scored her eighth goal in six appearances for the world champions in the 63rd minute after Alex Morgan opened the scoring in first-half injury time.

Brazil pulled one back in the 90th minute through Ludmila, with the United States conceding their first and only goal of the competition. Japan, winners of Canada 3-0, finished second, thanks to a better goal difference than Brazil and Canada, third and fourth in the four-team tournament.
