President Joe Biden’s campaign accused Donald Trump of inciting “political violence” today after the Republican tycoon released a video showing the Democratic president in handcuffs.
“This image that Donald Trump posted is the kind of nonsense that someone posts when they call for ‘bloodshed,'” Joe Biden’s campaign spokesman complained in a statement today, referring to the Republican’s recent comments.
“Trump is systematically inciting political violence and it’s time for people to take him seriously,” the spokesman said, recalling that Trump’s first term ended with an attack on the Capitol by hundreds of his supporters.
The former president yesterday posted a video on his own social media network Truth Social showing two cars driving on a road. Vehicles are filled with pro-Trump flags and stickers. On the back door of the second vehicle, a semi-truck, is an image of the US president lying on his side with rope tied at his hands and feet.

Condemnation by the Democrats
