To celebrate Independence Day, Walt Disney World Resort hosted breathtaking USA Air Force flyovers over Magic Kingdom park yesterday, July 4, 2023.
Airmen assigned to the 91st ARS interacted with Disney characters and guests before a flyover of Cinderella’s Castle. The flyover involved a KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to the 6th Air Refueling Wing and several F-35A Lightning IIs assigned to the 33rd Fighter Wing.
The US Air Force was able to showcase its capabilities with two flyovers as part of its national outreach with its program that aims to engage and inspire the next generation of American airmen.
As of 10:30 a.m., a squadron of F-35 stealth fighter jets flown by the 33rd Fighter Wing made two passes over the most famous theme park.
2023 marks 100 years of Air Force refueling capabilities. This year also marks the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company.
July 4 is a special day for Americans, who celebrate the anniversary of independence in the United States. It’s always party time on this rare holiday. Stars and Stripes, barbecues, parades and fireworks are traditionally on the program
