The Republican candidate for the presidency of the United States, Donald Trump, said today that the current president of the country should have a say in the decisions made by the Central Bank of America (Fed).
“I think the president should at least have a say” in Fed decisions, Trump told reporters at his residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida .
“I think in my case, I’ve made a lot of money, I’ve been very successful, and I think I have better instincts than – in many cases – Fed officials or the head of the Fed,” Trump said.
