USA-The “Philly Fed” index down slightly in June

June 17 (Reuters) – Business conditions in the Philadelphia area worsened slightly in June, the US Federal Reserve’s local branch monthly survey showed on Thursday.

The “Philly Fed” index fell to 30.7, where economists polled by Reuters on average expected a figure of 31 after 31.5 in May.

The new orders component fell to 22.2 in June from 32.5 in the previous month.

The six-month outlook sub-index stood at 69.2 this month from 52.7 in May, and the employment sub-index rose to 30.7 from 19. 3 a month earlier.

That of paid prices reached 80.7 at least in June after 76.8 in May.
