Michael Gargiulo was convicted of the murder of two women and the attempted murder of another in the early 2000s. The victims also suffered mutilations
Michael Gargiulo, lo squartatore in Hollywood was sentenced to death for killing two women and tempted to kill another. This was decided by Los Angeles judge Larry Fidler. The case of Gargiulo, 45, made headlines because one of the victims was a girl, Ashley Hands, who was preparing to go to a appointment with the actor Ashton Kutcher. Ellerin was killed with 47 stab wounds. The other victim was Maria Bruno, 32 years old and mother of four children: Gargiulo killed her and has them cut the breast to remove the prostheses. Instead, it was the one who survived the Gargiulo attack Michelle Murphy, who fought, forced him to to run away and routed the investigators to to solve the two previous cases. In the courtroom Gargiulo said: I’m coming sentenced to death unfairly e unjustified. I wanted to testify but they shut me up.

Gargiulo was also accused in 2011 in Illinois nell’killing in 1993 of the 18enne Tricia Pacaccio, of Glenview. Pacaccio was killed a week before his arrival at the Purdue University to study engineering and environmental issues. His father found his body on the steps of the house the morning after she went out with friends. It had been stabbed 12 eight deputy sheriff times. Gargiulo, then 17enne, he lived a block away and he was initially suspected, but he was not accused if not many years afterdespite a DNA test of 2003 which according to the police connected to crime. On Thursday 15th July, Gargiulo sat in court in lavender shirt and trousers with standing behind him. It didn’t show no reaction while the clerk read the verdict.
