USA, Murder | He raised the alarm about the danger: now images of missing women are arriving

NEW YORK (Nettavisen): Lucy Studey of Iowa in the United States presents a horrific story that has rocked the country.

– Dad was a serial killer

The 45-year-old woman claims her father, Donald Dean Studey, was a serial killer and says he killed between 50 and 70 women over the course of three decades. She Lucy also says that on several occasions she has witnessed murders and that she has taken part in the burial of many of those killed.

– I know where the bodies are buried, Studey adds Newsweek. In several articles in Newsweek, the first published in late October of this year, she details the murders her father allegedly committed and how she and her siblings were drawn into it all.

Donald Dean Studey, who died in 2013, is suspected of defrauding women, most of them bystanders or prostitutes, near Omaha, Nebraska. He is said to have transported them to his home in a caravan on a farm in the countryside, before killing them.

The body was transported in a wheelbarrow

– He just told us that we had to go to the well, and then I understood what he meant. Every time we went to the well or to the forest, I wasn’t sure if I would come back. I thought he was going to kill me because I would never shut up, she tells Newsweek.

Lucy tells Newsweek how she and her siblings must have hauled the bodies using a wheelbarrow in hot weather, while they used a sled in winter.

According to Lucy, the father not only made sure that the children knew what he was doing, but forced them to bury them.

Lucy Studey says most of the women her father allegedly killed had dark hair. And aside from one 15-year-old girl whose father allegedly committed suicide, most of the women were in their 20s and 30s, she explained. Two men were also said to have been killed and buried at the site, according to the 45-year-old.

On Facebook, Lucy also referred to her father as a “gas station clerk, mechanic and truck driver at many gas stations and trailer parks.”

There she describes a stop in Council Bluffs, Iowa, where the public bus stopped and where, according to her, her father chased women off the bus:

– went for those who had nowhere to stay for the night. He picked up prostitutes who frequented truck stops, picked up single women in bars. People you wouldn’t miss, says Lucy.

– Nobody would believe me

Lucy Studey says over the years that she has told her story to both teachers, priests and the police, without being believed.

– Nobody would believe me. The teacher said family matters should be handled within the family, while police said they could not trust a child’s memory. I was just a kid then, but I remember everything, says Lucy.

Newsweek says it checked Donald Studey’s criminal record and found he served a sentence in Missouri in the 1950s for petty theft and was caught for drunk driving in 1989. Now they’ve asked police for more information about him, and at the same time they were in contact with the FBI.

Fremont County Sheriff Kevin Aistrope was at the well with Lucy, two police officers, a dog handler and his two dogs. The cadaver dogs must then have gone directly to the location where Lucy claims several bodies were buried and marked the spot.

– I’m 100% sure there are bodies there, the sheriff tells Newsweek. The site is now cordoned off pending further investigations.

Sending photos of missing women

According to Newsweek, the family of at least 15 missing people have now contacted Lucy Studey, to see if this is one of the people her father may have killed.

– I can read no more without breaking down emotionally, says Lucy of the letters.

– I can’t imagine a family missing someone they love. Every time you hear about a body finding or a potential murder, you ask yourself, “Is that what I love?” My heart bleeds for them, says Lucy.

At the same time, the 45-year-old continues to assist police in the investigation, which, according to Newsweek, now includes the Fremont County Sheriff’s Department, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and FBI. If the excavation is done, it won’t be the first time. After Lucy went to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office in 2007, telling police that her father was a serial killer, the area was also searched, but in the wrong place.

– We’ve been hearing about it for years. She (Lucy) told us about it in 2007 and we went there and as far as we could only see one well in the area, we had no idea it was on other people’s property, Fremont County Deputy Sheriff Tim previously said. Bothwell Who13.com.

– I’ve never been able to shut up

– I want to be clear on this. All my life my father told me that I had a vivid imagination, that I had a loose screw, that I was hallucinating, that I was a liar and stuff like that.

– It is not true. He said this because I could never shut up. I’ve been trying to tell people about my father since 1973. I was about four or five years old. He beat me or threatened to kill me every time I told anyone about it. He told me it was better for people to believe this about me than that he should kill me, the 45-year-old says in a Facebook post.

Lucy says that in addition to a brother who committed suicide at age 39 and two sisters, she knows their father also fathered six other children with several other women. Several of these women are said to have died under suspicious circumstances, two of them by suicide; both Lucy Studey’s mother and stepmother.

Despite the fact that Lucy’s claims are being investigated, not everyone believes the 45-year-old’s story. This also includes his own family.

On her closed Facebook group, the 45-year-old now asks that her two sisters, Susan and Linda, also come forward and share what they have experienced and seen.

According to Newsweek, one of the sisters, Susan, has denied all of Lucy’s claims and says they are “fantasies of a woman who has gone mad.”
