Nov. 11 (Reuters) – US Senator Joe Manchin could delay President Joe Biden’s “Build Back Better” law until next year due to inflation, US news site Axios reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The plan of 1.750 billion dollars is intended for social policies and the fight against global warming.
The US Congress last week passed a $ 1 trillion investment plan to upgrade roads, bridges, high-speed internet, and other infrastructure.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Tuesday that the House intended to pass the “Build Back Better” law in the week of November 15.
Joe Manchin’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
