Big disappointment for USA Limoges. In search of a first success this season, the Limougeauds saw their series of defeats increase to three after the setback conceded this Saturday evening, at Beaublanc defeating Marcq-en-Barœul (31-17).
Deprived of Finch and Glenisson, victims of food poisoning, authors of a catastrophic first act, the Limougeauds, reduced to fourteen after the expulsion of Ramette (33rd), failed in their commitment against the Northerners who rushed into the breach by feeding on their errors to take the lead at the break: 24-0.
If a wind of revolt allowed it to erase half of its delay in a quarter of an hour thanks to tries from Lachaux and Laverdet (24-12, 55th), the USAL saw its efforts almost reduced to nothing on the dismissal with a new defensive error (31-17, 57th). The Limougeauds fought courageously until the end and scored another try through Lachaux (31-17, 77th). But this defeat is not likely to reassure.
