NEW YORK, June 15 (Reuters) – New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday announced the lifting of all restrictions related to the coronavirus health crisis after indicating that 70% of adults in the state had received minus one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
During a press conference, the elected Democrat said that it was an “important step” and that he would continue to encourage the people of New York to be vaccinated.
Some guidelines, especially in public transport and health centers, will remain in place in accordance with the recommendations of the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said Andrew Cuomo. (Maria Caspani and Jonathan Allen; French version Jean Terzian)
