USA: higher-than-expected job creation in February

(AOF) – The United States created 311,000 non-farm payrolls in February, above the 205,000 expected after 517,000 the previous month. The unemployment rate came out slightly up at 3.6%, the consensus forecasting 3.4%. The average hourly wage, for its part, rose by 4.6%, against a consensus of 4.7%, after 4.4% in January.
