“USA Defeats Germany 3-2 in Ice Hockey World Championship: Sean Farrell Scores Tying Goal”

Sean Farrell scored and the United States beat Germany 3-2 on Monday at the Ice Hockey World Championship.

Farrell scored the tying goal early in the third period with help from Habs prospect Lane Hutson.

Ronnie Attard and Matt Coronato also scored for USA, which recorded a third victory in as many games since the start of the tournament.

Samuel Soramies and Justin Schutz replied for Germany, who have yet to win in three games.

The United States will play their next match on Wednesday against Austria.
