“An incredible day”
“It was an incredible day. To be able to wear the star striped USA jersey next year is an incredible opportunity. I am really grateful. This year things did not go as planned after a difficult start. But things are better now. Chad Haga and Tejay Van Garderen had a great time trial. I had to really work hard to win it this Thursday. I’m excited to say goodbye as it should be to Tejay Van Garderen during the road test [disputée ce dimanche 20 juin]”.
