WASHINGTON (Reuters) – United States President Joe Biden will host a summit with leaders of democratic countries on December 9 and 10 as part of an effort to support those states, the White House said on Wednesday.
This summit “will bring together heads of state, representatives of civil society, philanthropists and private sector actors” to discuss “the challenges facing democracy in order to collectively strengthen the foundations of democratic renewal”, explains the presidency. American in a press release.
