USA Basketball has released its full national team schedule for the World Cup. It was enriched with a match against Puerto Rico to be held in Las Vegas.
“Our preparation for the FIBA Men’s Basketball World Cup 2023 begins in Las Vegas and we are thrilled to return to a city that regularly and graciously hosts USA Basketball,” said Jim Tooley, CEO of USA Basketball. “The game at T-Mobile Arena, a first-class venue, will give basketball fans the opportunity to support the United States Men’s National Team before it goes overseas. We are grateful to the Puerto Rican national team for spending part of their training window in Las Vegas and look forward to welcoming them. »
Prior to the Puerto Rico game, Team USA will hold a training camp in Las Vegas. She will then travel to Spain and Abu Dhabi.
At the World Cup, the United States are placed in the first round in a group with Greece, Jordan and New Zealand.
