USA Basketball has added 15 players to the 42 previously selected Men’s National Team finalists with a view to the Tokyo Olympics.
The selection of players was approved by the Board of Directors of USA Basketball. The official 12-member roster of the men’s Olympic basketball team from state

Jerry Colangelo, USA Basketball director appreciated this inclusion of new players in an attempt to have more options: “With the postponement of the Tokyo Olympics from 2020 to 2021, it is important that we remain flexible and consider all players who can contribute to our efforts to present the best American team possible. These additions that we announce today will help ensure that we are doing so. “
Colangelo added that “having a larger pool of players than we normally have is critical because of all the uncertainties we face about availability.”
