This was stated by commenting on a statement previously released by the secretary of the Russian National Security Council, Nikolay Patrushev, who defined the ongoing hostilities as a NATO confrontation with Russia.
“Both NATO and the United States are definitely taking part in this conflict, albeit indirectly, through proxies,” Peskov said. Russia TodayWednesday (1/11/2023).

“Their involvement in this conflict is clear,” a spokesman for Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
Peskov said Moscow does not believe its actions could further prompt the United States and NATO to increase their military assistance to Kiev because it has already happened.

Peskov also added that increasingly powerful weapons were being delivered in greater numbers as Western countries stepped up the training of their Ukrainian troops.
