For the second day of the Women’s Volleyball World Championship, the United States won three sets to zero in Kazakhstan (25-18 / 25-13 / 25-22) and took the lead in Group C. Brazil won in four sets against the Czech Republic (25-20 / 25-18 / 22-25 / 25-18) and finished first in group D. Italy also won its match by taking only a bite of Cameroon three easy sets to zero (25-10 / 25-12 / 25-16), they took the lead in group A ahead of Holland and Belgium, the latter dominated Puerto Rico again three sets to zero (25-15 / 27-25 / 25-15). In group B, surprise with the defeat of Turkey, the fourth nation in the world, against Thailand in five sets, 15-13 in the last stage. The Dominican Republic leads the group after the victory against South Korea (25-19 / 25-12 / 25-15). Continuation of matches tomorrow.
