Slawy’s chief executive appeared on CNN on the same day and said that it is very unlikely that the currently approved vaccines will be effective in relation to the strain Corona 19 reported in the UK. It doesn’t exist.”
Chief Executive Officer Slawy said the core properties of the coronavirus, such as vaccine-related spike proteins, are specific to Corona 19, and that the possibility of large mutations is low.
“Vaccines use antibodies that resist many different regions of the spike protein, so it’s unlikely that all of that will change,” he said.
In addition, the chief executive of Slawi said that people who have already been infected with Corona 19 should also get the vaccine.
“We know that (Corona 19) infection does not induce a very strong immune response,” he said. “Because it weakens over time, it is safe for people who have been infected with Corona 19 to get the vaccine.”
