According to the US health authority CDC, more than 143 million doses of vaccines against COVID-19 have been administered across the US to date. The Americans are currently vaccinating with three vaccines: Moderna and Pfizer / BioNTech, of which two doses must be administered, and Johnson & Johnson, of which one dose is sufficient.
US President Joe Biden had promised before his inauguration on January 20 that at least 100 million vaccines would be administered during the first 100 days of his presidency. That goal was reached a few days ago, after less than sixty days in his tenure.
