The United States withdrew 95% of its troops from Afghanistan. This is stated in a statement by the US Central Command on Tuesday, July 13.
It is noted that since the decision by US President Joe Biden to withdraw troops, the Pentagon has carried out the equivalent of approximately 984 flights of military transport aircraft C-17 to transport military cargo.
More than 17 thousand units of military equipment were transferred to the Department of Logistics Support of the Ministry of Defense for destruction.
The United States also handed over seven facilities to the Afghan Defense Ministry.
On the eve of the commander of the US forces in Afghanistan General Austin Miller resigned powers.
