Former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg, 75, was sentenced to five months in prison for helping the company commit tax fraud.

Weisselberg had been working for Trump since the 1970s. In the trial, he pleaded guilty to all fifteen charges. He thus avoided the maximum penalty of 15 years in prison. As part of the sentence, he has already transferred around 2 million euros in back taxes, fines and interest.

Among other things, Weisselberg confessed to defrauding the company by taking off the books of the holding company’s extra income, a Manhattan apartment and car for himself, and tuition for his grandchildren. Trump himself is not on trial in this case.

Scientists will test special cameras on manatees at Burgers Zoo in Arnhem. Once it becomes clear where on the body cameras can best be attached, manatees and sea turtles in the Caribbean will also temporarily receive cameras.

This is being done for a large-scale international study to map the consequences of climate change in tropical ecosystems. According to zookeepers, the animals are not bothered by cameras. “They have very thick skin.”
