ANNOUNCEMENTS•
The supermarket employee died on Tuesday in the US state of Virginia killed six colleagues he left a note on his phone for his action. In it, he accuses his colleagues at Walmart of making fun of him. The Chesapeake Police Department made the announcement.
“Sorry everyone, but I didn’t plan this,” wrote 31-year-old Andre Bing. “I promise things will work out. It was like being led by satan.” The shooter also says he was harassed and pushed to his limits. The note contained the names of a number of colleagues. The names of the victims were not disclosed.
Bing opened fire in the supermarket cafeteria during a break on Tuesday evening. Then he shot himself.
Goal oriented
A supermarket employee says it looked like Bing was hunting and targeting his victims. “What I do know is that whoever he wanted dead was dead,” he said. “He went back and shot people who were already dead. Just to be sure.”
Bing’s colleagues who survived the shooting said he was known to be difficult and hostile towards employees. He was working as a foreman that night and would be working through the night. The man had been employed by Walmart since 2010.
Police say the gun he used was purchased legally and that Bing had no criminal record.
