The Angels – Seven-time track and field Olympic champion Allyson Felix has announced the end of her career.
“I gave everything I had to run and for the first time in my life I’m not sure I have more to give,” the 36-year-old US sprinter said on Instagram. “I want to say goodbye and thank you to the sport and the people who have shaped me in the only way I know how – with one last run.”
This summer the world championships will take place from July 15th to 24th in Eugene/USA. Multiple world champion Felix is one of the most successful track and field athletes in history.
