Ice hockey star Leon Draisaitl has suffered a setback with the Edmonton Oilers in the North American professional league NHL. Despite an assist from the 26-year-old, the Canadians lost 4-1 to the Dallas Stars on Wednesday night. The submission to the interim 1: 3 by Ryan McLeod (31st) was Draisaitl’s 18th in the current season. With an additional 18 goals on the account, the German is still the best scorer in the league.

Basketball: Mavericks win in Doncic comeback against Clippers
Luka Doncic led the Dallas Mavericks to a hotly contested win over the Los Angeles Clippers on his comeback. Two days after the defeat on Sunday, the exceptional Slovenian basketball player scored 26 points in the second game against the Clippers at 112: 104 after extra time. Doncic had missed the previous three games due to problems with his knee and ankle and was immediately the linchpin of the Mavericks on his return on Tuesday evening (local time). But he couldn’t prevent his team from losing a five-point lead in the last five seconds of regular time and having to push an additional shift.

With ten wins and eight defeats, the Mavericks overtook the Clippers in the Western Conference, who have one more defeat on the account. National player Maxi Kleber recorded eight counters, nine rebounds and six assists in more than 35 minutes in his second game since recovering from an abdominal muscle injury. Only his second free throw, 1.9 seconds before the end of regular time, gave the Clippers the chance to equalize with the last throw and overtime. Paul George hit the three to 103: 103.
