And Jimmy Fallon tells the whole story in a TikTok video. He calls it “Lost in Bavaria” and hopes to find his rescuers in their time of need. Because he really wants to thank Leon and his mom. Spoiler: The two were found.

Jimmy Fallon is on holiday in a hotel in Bavaria. He wants to walk to a lake, which will take him about an hour and a half to get to. Easy, thinks the TV presenter from the USA, turns on his audio book and sets off. The audio book must have been pretty good, because some time later he realises: He’s totally lost!

Jimmy Fallon gets lost in Bavaria

Jimmy Fallon actually just wanted to take a relaxing walk to a lake. In the end, he got completely lost in Bavaria and was only able to find his hotel thanks to the help of a nice family.

So Fallon grabs his phone, opens the map app… and then comes the next shock. Firstly, his phone only has five percent left. Secondly, he is almost two hours away from his hotel.
There’s a quicker way, he thinks, and takes a shortcut: across a field, where the grass eventually becomes too high for him, and back to the main road. Or so he thinks. In fact, he ends up on the side of a motorway. He tries his luck hitchhiking, even though he knows how dangerous it can be. But no one stops, all the cars speed past him.

Jimmy Fallon finds help at the workshop
So it’s time to keep walking. At some point he arrives at a car repair shop and asks for help. And this is where Leon comes in: “You climb over this fence, then you go through a field and climb over another fence, then there’s a golf course, then you’re at the hotel,” he is said to have described the route to Fallon.
Just as Fallon is about to climb the first fence, Leon notices who exactly he is standing in front of: a mega-famous TV presenter from the USA. The two take a photo and Fallon then dares to ask if Leon could drive him to the hotel.

The problem: Leon doesn’t have a driver’s license. So he gets his mom and together they take Jimmy Fallon back to his hotel. On the way they all sing along loudly to a Queen song and have the best time.
