Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – US Senator Lindsey Graham commented on the two statements issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Qatar regarding the attack launched by the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” against Israel and called the operations “Al-Aqsa Flood.”
Graham said in a series of blog posts on his page on the “It’s not normal at all.”
He continued, saying, “Such statements are similar to the statements of Iran – the largest state sponsor of terrorism – and are not like the statements of our allies. The only crime committed by Israel is insisting on the survival of the Jewish state and its continued existence.”
He added: “The Qatari Foreign Ministry’s statement was insulting on multiple levels and represents a major setback for peace.. Saudi Arabia’s adoption of ‘Israel’s responsibility’ and covering up for Hamas is also a major setback.. Both countries must understand that the United States – with bipartisan support – does not “I share the view that Israel is responsible for being attacked by radical Islamic terrorists who seek to destroy the Jewish state.”
He continued: “Such comments make it very difficult to move towards normalization of relations.”
