Meanwhile, Democrats and Republicans are still unable to agree on a 2024 budget plan.
The bill was approved by the House of Representatives on Tuesday. And now it has been sent to President Joe Biden for signature. Before the current temporary budget law expires after Friday, November 17th.
While the new law sets two deadlines, this almost never happens. The government will have budgets for military construction, veterans’ affairs, transportation, housing and energy until January 19, 2024.
