The State Department noted that Blinken and Ermak at the meeting discussed the situation at the front and preparations for winter, in particular the supply of additional air defense systems and strengthening the protection of Ukrainian critical infrastructure from air attacks.

The Office of the President noted that Ermak expressed gratitude to the White House, both houses of Congress and the entire American people for the unprecedented assistance and said that US assistance is “critical to ensuring stability in our country and bringing victory closer.”
The Ukrainian communique recalls that Ermak emphasized the importance of the speedy conclusion of a bilateral agreement between Ukraine and the United States on security guarantees within the framework of the G7 Joint Declaration on Support for Ukraine, which the allies signed as a framework document on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Vilnius.
