The talks will focus on “what they need in this phase of the fighting,” the official added, noting that “one of the highest priorities” will be the supply of anti-aircraft weapons.
In Kyiv, Blinken has already visited the Berkovecki cemetery, paying his respects to the fallen defenders of Ukraine, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba announced on Twitter.
“The Secretary of State has become the first colleague of mine to start the day in Kyiv by honoring our fallen heroes at the Berkovecka cemetery,” Kuleba said.
“It is a gesture of respect for Ukrainian soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom and right to live,” the minister added.
